John Fury, father of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, has voiced his concerns over Anthony Joshua's upcoming fight against Otto Wallin. Joshua is set to face Wallin in Saudi Arabia this Saturday, but Fury believes that Joshua may have made a mistake in selecting his opponent.

Wallin's Record and Fury's Warnings

Wallin, who has only lost one fight in his career, faced a unanimous decision defeat at the hands of Tyson Fury in 2019. Despite this, Fury believes that Wallin will present a significant challenge to Joshua and that it may be one of the toughest fights he has ever had.

Questioning Joshua's Team

Fury expressed doubts about the people surrounding Joshua and their decision to choose Wallin as his opponent. He acknowledged Wallin's skills as a 6ft 5in southpaw with a formidable trainer in Joey Gamache. However, Fury stated that it would be an uphill battle for Joshua and that he would not have picked Wallin if he were in charge.

Working with Ben Davison and Wilder vs Parker

Despite his criticism of Joshua's team, Fury praised Joshua's decision to work with trainer Ben Davison ahead of the fight. Davison previously worked with Tyson Fury in his victory over Wallin four years ago. Fury also commented on the upcoming clash between Deontay Wilder and Joseph Parker, stating that it is a dangerous fight for Parker but that the financial incentives are tempting.

It remains to be seen how Joshua will fare against Wallin, but Fury's warnings have certainly added an extra element of intrigue to the fight.
