The winner was seen as an opponent for Jones, the UFC legend who plans to return in this year's fight.

The man was not impressed, and he suggested that he would continue to watch from the sidelines.

Jones, 34, tweeted "Lol S***": "I may just enjoy retirement."

Paul, 25, a YouTube star who became a prizefighter, posted: "Boring battle."

The bitter feud between the 5-0 boxer and Dana White, UFC president, has been ongoing recently. White accuses him of underpaying his team.

Ngannou, 35 years old, walked away with a PS440,000 paycheck, but will make more through his pay-per view bonuses.

However, figures after UFC 272 showed that only PS1.3million was used on the entire card.

WBC heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury (33) earned a huge PS22m for his fight against Deontay wilder (36)

Paul said, "I can't stress enough just how awful this is.

"My next step in helping this situation will be announced tomorrow. PAY MORE FOR FIGHTERS

Paul defeated Tyron Woodley (39.) and Ben Askren (37) White's ex-fighters.

Woodley, an ex-UFC champion, lost initially on points in August but was KO in December.

Paul won two matches against 'AnEsonGib,' an online rival of Paul and former NBA point guard Nate Robinson (37).

White mocks the social media sensation for not fighting a professional boxer.

The UFC boss, Manouk Akopyan, recently said that Paul had never been a problem in their feud.

"I don’t hate the guy as much as people believe. He's just out doing his thing.

"He's a young man who has a fanbase, and is trying to make money. "I don't fault anyone for doing that."
