JORGE MASVIDAL, his manager, has teased a fight against Conor McGregor.
At UFC 272, Masvidal lost to Covington, a former friend and bitter rival.
Jorge Masvidal has made a vow to bounce back from defeat at Colby Covington
He had previously signed a new contract that made him one the UFC's most highly-paid stars before the grudge match.
Masvidal warned that even though he suffered the most devastating setbacks, it wouldn't be his last.
He tweeted, "Far from over. He tweeted: "Far from over. I will be back."
Masvidal was defeated in his three last fights and the conversation quickly turned to what next?
McGregor was the latest target of McGregor's fight in 2020. McGregor had enjoyed a meteoric rise in the previous year.
Instead, he would fight Kamaru Usman (34), losing by decision in Jul 2021, before succumbing to a knockout during their rematch last March.

UFC President Dana White once stated that McGregor was too big for the welterweight challenger.
Malki Kawa, Masvidal's manager, dismissed any suggestion of a size disparity after McGregor was seen at a Bellator event in Ireland.
Kawa tweeted "I saw Mcgregor in Dublin. He is not small. He seemed to be weighing in at 195-200lbs.
White, 34, admitted that he doesn't know what the future holds for Masvidal and Covington. He won bragging rights with a point win.
He replied, "I don’t know, that’s a good question." We knew tonight that whoever lost would ask, "What would be the next?" and "Where would they go?"
"And I don’t know. I’m sitting right here right now and I don’t know. Colby won, but neither one of them.
