JOSEPH PARKER hopes to rematch Anthony Joshua following his fight against Derek Chisora.
On December 18, Chisora, a 29-year-old man, will take on the 29-year-old at Manchester Arena in an attempt to extend his winning streak to six.
Parker lost to AJ bu unanimous decision
Parker is already planning his next move in heavyweight, despite the outcome of his fight against the 39-year old.
Parker is looking for a rematch with Joshua, who, despite losing the WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight titles, is still one the best heavyweights.
In 2018, AJ defeated the former WBO heavyweight champion. However, AJ hopes to get revenge one day.
He stated that "the most important thing is to keep winning, win and win, and place myself in a position to fight for the title of world champion when it becomes available."
"But, if I do well and put in a great fight, then I'm ready to fight anyone in top rankings.
"I believe that that's how you should be - if your fight against people who are higher than you, that's how you will fight for the world title.
"So, yes, Joshua, I want to fight again. He is the perfect opponent.
"We had our first fight, it wasn't the most exciting but I believe we can make it exciting if it is again."
The 29-2 Kiwi defeated Joshua to end the Brit's 20-fight streak of knockouts.
He said, "It was great to go to the distance with him and be the first to do that. But for me to enter the fight, I wanted to win."
"I said that, but I was beaten on the day by the better man. Joshua was to me the better man that day because of the way he boxed and the way he controlled distances.
"But I was not angry or upset when I left that fight.
"I knew that I needed to make some adjustments at that point.
"It was fun going the distance, but it would have been much better winning the fight and becoming unified champion of all the world. This is still a dream that I chase.
Parker believes that he is now more confident against Joshua, having been in the ring before. This will enable him to be more aggressive.
The hard-punching heavyweight admits that he must take more risks if he wants to climb the mountain of heavyweight weight.
Parker said, "I feel like i'm going back to the top."
"We will meet again and I would absolutely love to fight Anthony Joshua again. I have fought him before.
"It's a different experience to watch someone fight in the ring than watching them on TV.
"From our first fight, I had a lot confidence in myself. I know that if I make a few changes and become more aggressive, throw more punches, put on more pressure, and take more chances, I can succeed. However, I must admit that there are still many things that I need to improve on to be able to fight him again.
"There are others in front of me at this moment so I have the to work my way up."
