Warrington also mentioned the horrific injury in his own post from this morning.

He wrote, "Team Warrington as well as my family have pushed and pushed me throughout this camp and time and again we've stated that Kiko wouldn't be fitter or stronger than me on the night. We were right.

"But Kiko still bangs, the body can feel that this morning!"

It was also suggested that the two-time champion had suffered a broken hand.

Warrington's win is now set him up for unification bouts, or a huge domestic dust-up at Nottingham Forest's stadium with Leigh Wood.

He revealed that he had previously requested "bread and butter pudding", a cheeseburger and a pint with his wife to celebrate his 31st career victory and the first since 2019.

Warrington, who was joined by Luke Ayling, Leeds defender, for the ring dance, said: "Listen, I've got mine back. It was not only for me, it was for my family, and for all those who supported me.

"We may not be able to do as many as the big boys AJs or Furys, but I would rather have an arena full these people than 100,000 tourists every day of the week.

"There is no other place like it in the world, not even the country.

"It's not everyone's favorite tea, but Yorkshire tea is my favourite. It's the best.

"We're fine and do alright. Love you Leeds."

When Warrington was asked about the possibility of a clash with Wood, Warrington replied: "If we have to go and boot out the City Ground doors, we'll do that."

"Away day we'll do that, but for a long while we've wanted the States.

"These people have their passports and credit cards ready. We are looking for an escape day.
