JOSHUA BUATSI won his second race in three brutal months, with a one-sided beating of Ricards Bolotniks.
"Just Business" was the name of the man who raced to his 15th consecutive victory in Eddie Hearn’s Essex garden. Hearn also hosted a precision punching clinic that ended in the 11th.
Joshua Buatsi is getting closer to a fight for the world title with an eleventh-roundKO
Anthony Joshua-managed Ace dropped the granite-chinned Latvian in sixth. In round eight, he was docked one point for low blows and then avoided the judges by a highlight reel knockout.
JB stated: "Huge credit goes to Bolotniks. He is a great champion and pushed me every step of the way.
"I empty my tank in the sixth, and then I sat down afterwards to ask myself why I did it.
"But I have done this many times in camp together with my sparring partners so it was not a worry."
Croydon's 28-year old ace was hard to miss in the opener. The 31-year-old caught him with every shot.
Bolotniks' short hook stunned him and caused him to smash his fists together in frustration over his lapse of concentration.
Buatsi began to work on Bolotniks’ body in the second, but was once again tied with a hook around his guard.
The 2016 Olympic bronze medalist kept poking holes in the visitor, and when he was clipped in the third, he laughed and shook off his blow.
Round four saw Bolotniks' left side bulging, and a Buatsi left hook was placed at every turn to help the visitor who was struggling.
Buatsi got whacked in the fifth, but that sparked him to action again and he completed the round by peppering Bolotniks once more.
The sixth round saw the end of the fight when Buatsi, who was dipping beautifully under a looping Haymaker, bounced up into an uppercut that smashed Bolotniks to the ground.
The underdog was able to beat the count, but was then brutally pummeled for the remaining 10-8 rounds. He managed to survive the session, his corner only one more punch away from throwing in the towel.
Buatsi was penalized for too many low blows in round eight, meaning that Buatsi was out of points. Bolotniks were able to get back from the beatings he received.

Buatsi was caught too many times in round nine but he was never hurt and he finished the stanza with a violent left hook that added more damage to Bolotniks’ bruised and bleeding face.
Rounds 10 and 11 were hard to watch, as JB repeatedly found a home for his howitzers.
And the final punch of the night was a sickening right hander that sent Bolotniks crashing to the canvas without a count even needed.
