Jurgen Blin (GERMAN boxer), who fought Muhammad Ali, and was the European heavyweight champion, has passed away at the age of 79.
After suffering from kidney disease, the ex-fighter died on Saturday.

In 1971, Ali defeated Blin in their fight.
His greatest fight was on Boxing Day 1971, when he faced Ali, a legendary boxer. He lost by a seventh round knockout.
Blin was praised for his performance, and six months later he won the European title.
In a nine-year career that spans 1964-1973, he won 31 of his 48 fights in professional boxing.
He lost his final fight against Ron Lyle in Denver by TKO.
