Kate Garraway thinks Tommy Fury fears his father John Fury following his explosive rant during Good Morning Britain

Kate Garraway, co-host of Good Morning Britain, has suggested that Tommy Fury is scared of his father John following his recent outburst on the show. The father-son duo appeared on the ITV breakfast program to discuss Tommy's upcoming fight with KSI on October 14. During the interview, John Fury went on an explosive rant about "being a man," leaving Garraway to believe that Tommy is fearful of his dad.

John Fury defends his behavior

As Garraway and Ben Shephard asked about John Fury's infamous table-turning incident at a recent press conference, Fury Sr insisted that it was just his normal behavior. He claimed, "That's me, I like to get on with it, I like to get going. That's what separates us men from the boys." John Fury dismissed KSI's boxing skills, stating that acting is a pretense for him, while he and Tommy are born fighters. Throughout John's monologue, Tommy remained silent and motionless.

Kate Garraway's reaction

After the interview, Garraway made a lighthearted comment, stating, "I'm more scared of the dad," despite Tommy Fury being the professional boxer. She jokingly added, "He doesn't mess around. I bet Tommy didn't backchat." Ben Shephard agreed, emphasizing that John Fury is not to be trifled with.

Viewer backlash

Viewers at home were quick to criticize John Fury for his behavior. Some called him out for his derogatory comments and accused him of being racist, particularly in his description of KSI's braided hair as a "pineapple." Others felt that John Fury ignored Kate Garraway during the interview, only focusing on Ben Shephard. There was also backlash for his aggressive reaction to a pre-recorded video message from KSI.

It seems that tensions are running high in the lead-up to Tommy Fury's fight with KSI, and the dynamic between Tommy and his father is drawing attention. With both of them being passionate fighters, it will be interesting to see how this relationship plays out in the ring.
