KSI Vows Legal Action

KSI has threatened to sue the culprits after his Misfits Boxing 13 event was disrupted by a swatting hoax. The event took place at the Worldwide Stages arena in Tennessee, with the venue being evacuated during the second round of a fight between Lil Cracra and Yuddy Gang.

What is Swatting?

For those unfamiliar, "swatting" is an internet prank where a hoax call reports a serious crime to emergency services, prompting a swat team response. This led to the evacuation of the arena and an 80-minute delay in the event.

KSI's Response

Reacting to the incident, KSI expressed astonishment, stating, "I’ve never seen an event that I’m watching LIVE, get swatted. America’s different." He also acknowledged the publicity generated by the incident, saying, "You’ve now just made Misfits 13 one of the most talked-about events." KSI further declared his intention to pursue legal action against the perpetrators, emphasizing that VPNs wouldn't protect them.

Explanation and Resumption of the Event

Misfits announcer Todd Grisham provided clarity on the situation, explaining that local law enforcement cleared the venue as a precautionary measure. Following the security check, the event resumed, although the bout between Lil Cracra and Yuddy Gang was ruled a no-contest. However, the other fights on the card proceeded as scheduled, with Fox The G emerging victorious in the main event.
