Bob Arum, the US-based promoter of The Gypsy King, recently revealed that Anthony Joshua's former conqueror Ruiz Jr. and Robert Helenius are options for the unbeaten Mancunian.

"So, we're considering Andy Ruiz as an option. He's available.
"This big Finnish kid looked great on the semi-windup on Fury – Wilder card, Helenius. He is a big, strong Finnish kid who can fight.
"Those are the principal men. If it's Helenius, it takes place in the UK. If it's Ruiz we take it to Las Vegas.
Ruiz Jr instantly took to his Instagram Story, where he said that he was willing to face Fury in the squared circle.
The Destroyer, who was previously a WBA, WBO, and IBF champion, posted a screenshot of Arum's quotes and said: "Let’s go I need that WBC."

After WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman spoke out about the possibility of a dust-up, Deontay Wilder was also linked to a clash with Ruiz Jr.
He said, "That fight would be fantastic, and it is consistent [with what the plans are] for Mexico City [to secure large boxing events].
"We've been trying to bring back a great event in our capital.
"There have been great fights in Mexico City, but we have had many years of not having a great event here. Andy Ruiz [a fight against Wilder] would have been wonderful.
"The Wilder-Ruiz fight [at heavyweight] is probably the most interesting non-title bout right now."
"Wilder, Andy Ruiz, is an explosive boxer. He has achieved one of the greatest upsets in heavyweight boxing history and the great traction with Mexican fans. I would love to have him here in Mexico."
