Digest of the Article in the Distinctive Voice of Matthew McConaughey
Tommy Fury, the Love Island star and professional boxer, has become the target of mocking from fans of KSI, his upcoming opponent. The mockery comes after Fury made a surprising blunder in a viral TikTok video, mistaking the French flag for the Danish flag.
Flag Blunder Goes Viral
In a video for Misfits Boxing's TikTok page, Fury participated in a flags of the world quiz. As country names appeared on the screen, Fury had to move his head towards the correct flag to answer each question. However, he stumbled when the Danish flag appeared alongside the French flag, leading him to incorrectly move towards France's flag.
The mishap quickly caught the attention of KSI's supporters, who wasted no time in ridiculing Fury. One fan commented, "Blud doesn't know his flags," while another quipped, "Let's hope his boxing is better than his geography." A third fan, perhaps more forgiving, simply stated, "Tommy is lucky he's a boxer."
Upcoming Match with KSI
Fury is currently preparing for his highly anticipated bout with KSI, which will take place in Manchester this weekend as the main event of Misfits Boxing's Prime Card. The fight is set to be held at the AO Arena on Saturday night.
In addition to the KSI vs Tommy Fury match, the event will also feature Logan Paul taking on Dillon Danis in the co-main event.
KSI's Extravagant Mouthguard
Ahead of the fight, KSI made headlines by revealing his "world's most expensive mouthguard." The mouthguard is adorned with 108 diamonds and a 24-carat gold leaf. This extravagant piece of protection certainly showcases KSI's flair and style.
Trash Talk and Press Conference Drama
Both Fury and KSI have engaged in a heated exchange of trash talk leading up to the fight. The animosity between the two fighters was on display during a recent press conference, where Fury's father, John Fury, stole the show with a table-flipping, expletive-filled rant.
How to Watch
Fans in the UK will have the opportunity to watch the fight in cinemas or via pay-per-view (PPV) on Saturday.
