The American has revealed the TALE of Tyson Fury sparring with Deontay wilder's trainer Malik Scott.
In 2013, the 40-year-old former fighter flew in to do a few workouts with Gypsy King, but it was too short.
Malik Scott has spoken out about why he stopped sparring with Tyson Fury
Scott, a prominent heavyweight fighter at the time, lost his 36-fight unbeaten record that year to Derek Chisora in a WBO International bout.
Fury, now 33 years old, was still climbing the ranks, with 20 pro fights under his belt.
Scott, now in charge of Wilder’s Trilogy clash against the Brit in Oct, recalled his sparring experience during an Instagram Question and Answer.
He wrote: "I flew alone to Brussels, Belgium.
After a few sessions with Boxed Fury, he was very mobile and competent for such a large man. He had a big personality, but it was obvious that he was lacking a few things.
"In our first sparring session, I was hit with a right hook in my guard. It clogged up my ears.
"We boxed eight rounds on that day. After that, we did two more sessions during the week and my ears just kept getting worse.
"So, I decided enough was enough. I was still active fighter at that time. So I told Peter Fury that it would be enough.
They paid me my money and gave me a train ticket. I wished them good luck, and the rest is history.
Wilder's camp has made a variety of accusations against Fury ahead of the defense of his WBC World title. One is that he claimed he faked having coronavirus in order to delay the fight.
Scott and he also clashed over their sparring session at July's original pre-fight press conference.
Scott stated: "You're a man of 260 pounds that can fight. You bust my eardrums the first time we sparred.
"It's not something you should brag about. You can fight, that is what you do."
"The first day, he busted my eardrum. Then I came back and boxed the next day.
"Then it happened the next day, I couldn’t hear and couldn’t continue boxing, this is what happens in boxing."
Fury responded with a sarcastic, "As we're talking about ear-busting," Fury said, "Don't you find it funny that both these men eardrums, fighter and trainer, are busted by me?" Crazy statistic."
