Pacquiao Eyes Comeback
Manny Pacquiao, the Filipino icon who retired in 2021 after a defeat to Yordenis Ugas, is in talks to make a boxing return in Saudi Arabia. Despite his retirement, Pacquiao has been teasing a comeback and has met with boxing bosses in Saudi to discuss a potential return to the ring.
Possible Opponents
If Pacquiao does make a comeback, two potential opponents being discussed are Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor. Mayweather defeated Pacquiao in 2015, and a rematch between the two would be highly anticipated. Additionally, a crossover clash against McGregor, who made his boxing debut in 2017 against Mayweather, is also being considered.
Discussions Underway
Pacquiao's advisor, Sean Gibbons, has confirmed that discussions are taking place. Gibbons stated, "We are having discussions and Manny is talking to his Excellency Turki Alalshikh. Conor McGregor has said he is fighting in the UFC in June so there's nothing happening at all there, but it can be revisited alongside Floyd Mayweather."
Pacquiao's Fantasy Fight
Although McGregor is currently not an option due to his UFC obligations, Pacquiao still considers a fight against him to be a fantasy. McGregor and Pacquiao held talks in the past, but a legal dispute between their camps prevented the bout from happening.

Overall, it appears that Pacquiao's return to the ring is a possibility, and fans are eagerly awaiting news of his next opponent.
