Martyn Ford's remarkable body transformation as the World's Scariest Man was unrecognizable in his years as a cricketer

MARTYN FORD may be the 'World’s Scariest Man', but he doesn't have a hulking physique.

The Brit bodybuilder, 39 years old, was scheduled to face Sajad Gharbiri in a heavyweight boxing match later this month.

In a setback for his fledgling career in boxing, the fight against the "Iranian Hulk" has been removed from the card. It was scheduled to take place on April 30.

Fans have been assured by him that he WILL be there soon, even though he doesn't currently have an opponent.

Ford has made a lot of progress since his days as a scraggly teenager cricketer standing at 6ft8 and feeling awkward in his own skin.

The Midlands-native is now a 320 pound colossus, made possible by years of hard work down the gym.

Ford's teenage dreams of playing professional cricket were thwarted by a severe bout of glandular fever.

He was unable to develop for a year due to the disease and decided to stop playing the game and start pumping iron.

He said, "The injury really hit me and then I was so devastated that I gave up on myself psychologically."

"I think a combination between not training and depression brought me down to this weight."

Fans are stunned at Ford's throwback photos of how he looked before he lifted weights.

His physique has taken Ford from the West Midlands gyms to Hollywood's bright lights, where he recently starred in Fast & Furious 9.

He is the proud owner and operator of Beta Bodz gym, Birmingham. The tattooed bodybuilder maintains his amazing physique through a strict workout program.

"THERE WILL BE A FIGHT"

It involves five sessions of high-level training each week. The reps and exercises are changed every month to shock the body into a change.

Ford also lifts weights and uses boxing, MMA, and a variety of other exercises to stay in peak condition.

Everyone knows that working out alone won't make you great - you are only as good as what you eat.

Ford ate between 4500 and 8000 calories per day before he took on the Hulk fight. He also meticulously counts his macros at each meal to avoid any excess fat.

As he was getting ready for the April 30 showdown, he revealed that he had cut four stones recently.

He looks poised to make his debut in boxing, despite the disappointment at not being able to fight the Iranian Hulk.

He stated that he didn't want to talk about it. It was a waste of time and energy.

"I'm still training hard. There will be a debut. It will be a fight. I'm not 100% sure who, when, or why it will take place, but it will.

Last month, Ford and the Iranian Hulk clashed at Dubai. The Brit came out on top in a heated face-off.

Gharibi was sent flying to the ground by Ford's push, and fans were worried about his safety.

This fight was originally scheduled under Patrice Evra's showdown against Adam Saleh. It is still on.
