Meet David Adeleye, Tyson Fury’s unbeaten sparring partner. He will continue his rapid rise on the Dillian Whyte subcard

David Adeleye, a heavyweight prospect, will attempt to be unbeaten on Wembley's historic night - just as Tyson Fury, his sparring partner.

Fury will be back on Saturday night's undercard in a domestic fight with Dillian Whyte, his former sparring partner.

Adeleye will be playing the Lancashire southpaw Chris Healey. Healey has a 9-8 record.

Britain's latest heavyweight prospect is a key participant in Fury's training camp. He was cheered by the Gypsy King on Tuesday during his open exercise.

Many believe Adeleye, who also trains with Anthony Joshua, will make a rapid rise to the heavyweight ranks.

Background

Adeleye was born to Nigerian parents in London in 1996. They didn't want him to enter professional boxing.

Adeleye started boxing when he was 14 years old, training under Gary McGuiness at The Dale Youth Club. He had many amateur fights before turning professional in December 2019.

Adeleye was an amateur when he became the Junior ABA Champion in 2013. He then won the Senior ABA Novices title in 2017 and Senior ABA title in 2018.

Physical

Adeleye is a physically impressive 6'4 tall and weighs in at 15 stone 7lbs.

As he continues to gain weight and becomes more chiselled, his weight will likely rise in the future.

Experience

Adeleye fought over 30 times in amateur before he made his professional debut against Dmitrij Kalinavskij. He lost just one round to Kalinovskij.

The man-mountain went on to win seven more victories. All but one of those victories were achieved by stoppage.
