MICHAEL VENOM PAGES has not ruled out fighting Jake Paul, but first vows that Mike Perry will be a "mess" during their bare-knuckle fight.
After signing with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, the Bellator welterweight switches the cage to the ring.
Mike Perry fights Michael Venom Page in bare-knuckle
Perry, an unpredictable opponent in the UFC, will be facing And at Wembley Arena on Saturday night. Expect to make Perry unrecognizable.
SunSport spoke with Page about Page's "great personality to promote a show."
"He's funny out, big character, makes a lot noise and it kinda hypes you up. He makes you want go in there to fight.
"It's a great partner to come here, great name, and great for my first fight.
"I expect that the fight will go as I want it to. I am more technical and precise in landing my shots.
"He's going be a bit of an mess by the finish of it, but he's going to do what he does best, put on show and come out victorious."
Page, 35, was recently challenged in May for the interim Bellator Welterweight title, but was controversially defeated by Logan Storley (29).
MVP was not offered by the MMA promotion until November. The Londoner therefore looked elsewhere for potential opportunities.
Page, who had already won two traditional boxing bouts, sought another gloved bout.
However, when David Haye, his former promoter, offered to BKFC, the deal was immediately closed.
Page said: "I have worked with David before. We're actually very close friends so it was easy to have a conversation.
"Then, the final result was that I had to present it Bellator. They had to be satisfied with it or it wouldn't work.
"From there, I had the task of finding the right people at Bellator, but they were very happy with it, especially the timing. It worked out okay.
"So they approved it and that was it. We're now here.
Page is keen to win the Bellator title, but is open to returning to boxing.
Many MMA stars have made the same move, including Anderson Silva, 47, who is UFC legend.
Tyron Woodley, 40 and Ben Askren, 38 did the same to fight YouTuber Paul, 25, who was now a prizefighter.
Both were defeated and Nate Diaz, 37 and Jorge Masvidal (37 respectively) were called out by the 5-0 social media sensation.
Page won't be drawn to the American challenge, but Page would not refuse the opportunity to fight him.
He stated that he didn't want to fight for such a fight, but if it falls upon my lap in the same way as this has, then why not?
"It's like punching someone in their face for a lot money."
