Mike Tyson, a legend in boxing, has advised Tyson Fury that he should "keep on winning" despite retirement rumours.
Fury continued his streak of undefeated wins by finishing his trilogy with Deontay wilder in style earlier in the month, when he defeated The Bronze Bomber in Las Vegas via an 11th-round knockout.
Although the WBC Heavyweight Title was retained by the Gypsy King, his future seems uncertain. There have been many signs that the British heavyweight could be retiring.
Tyson appears to be encouraging the 33-year old bruiser to continue his 32-match unbeaten streak.
The undisputed heavyweight champion once said to Reuters, "Keep on winning brother. Keep on winning."
"He is the lineal champion. He is the man who beats the man. He is heavyweight boxing. He is the only one.
"Ask anyone except for Oleksandr Usyk, the heavyweight champion?" Fury might be the answer, Usyk may even claim it."
After beating Wilder, Fury suggested he might retire by saying he didn't know if it was necessary to continue fighting.
The Mancunian said that he still has one bout on his Top Rank and ESPN contract.
Fury stated, "I don’t know what’s going to happen."
"I have one fight left on my Top Rank and ESPN contract and we'll find out what it is.
"But I am not thinking about boxing right at the moment. I don't know how many more fights I have left.
"I don’t know if it is necessary to fight anymore. "I don't know where the future will lead me."
Frank Warren, Fury's promoter, echoed his feelings and didn't rule out a possible departure from boxing.
Warren said that he would support any decision made by the English boxer about his future.
He stated that he conducted an interview before the fight and had five fights mapped out.
"I'm only saying that if he wants to do it, it will happen. He will do whatever he wants and no one will tell him who he's going to fight.
"I will tell you now that he is the man, and he will do whatever is necessary. I wouldn't be surprised if Tyson stated tomorrow that he's had enough and doesn't like it.
"If he does, then he is rich, he made a lot of cash, and he must do what is right."
