MIKE TYSON broke his silence about his mile-high melee, insisting that he shouldn’t be "even taking public planes."

Tyson, 55 years old, repeatedly punched Melvin George Townsend III while on a JetBlue flight last October, but was spared criminal charges.

The boxing legend has admitted that his wife Lakiha Spencer doesn’t want him to fly on commercial flights.

Due to video footage showing Townsend attempting to intimidate the former heavyweight champion, the San Mateo County District attorney decided not to bring any charges against the boxing legend.

Iron Mike spoke out about the incident in a podcast episode. He said: "Yes, but they said they weren't going to pick up any charges."

"He was f *****g along with me. I took photos with this n ****.. I shouldn't be flying on public planes."

Lakiha Spencer, Tyson's spouse and mother of his two children, isn't keen on him flying commercially.

He said, "My wife gets mad whenever I fly on public planes."

Tyson was furious at the whole thing and admitted that it "triggers me."

Tyson now realizes that confronting troublesome fans is not worth the effort.

When asked if it was a losing situation, The Baddest Man On the Planet replied: "Yes." 100%.

In recent weeks, Tyson was linked to a shocking showdown with Jake Paul, a YouTuber and boxer who is now 5-0 as a professional.

He recently said that he was open to a fight with former Disney star.
