MIKE TYSON refutes Floyd Mayweather's assertion that Tyron Woodley defeated Jake Paul in their fight last Saturday.
Paul, 24 defeated Woodley, 39 by a split decision at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse Cleveland.
Woodley was beaten by Paul in the highly anticipated clash
Tyson believes that the YouTube sensation, who rose to 4-0 as an official following the win, deserved to be acknowledged.
He spoke to TMZ and said that Jake Paul won. I love Jake Paul. Tyron Woodley was great."
Woodley, who was the trainer of the MMA fighter in the build-up to the bout, claimed that Mayweather had told him he won.
Former UFC champion Mayweather said that he did not feel like he won the fight.
"He said, "You know, I told ya that Jake Paul was going to be scared of you. You've been there before.
He said, "He hasn't been hit yet with any s**t." We'll see what he does.
He said, "You've been hit by four-ounce gloves and you can take that." Let's see what he does with that."
Woodley started campaigning for a match seconds after his professional boxing debut result was announced.
Paul has other potential opponents, including Tyson Fury’s brother Tommy who won his fight on the undercard.
Tommy, who is 7-1, asked Paul to fight him after he beat American Anthony Taylor unanimously.
He stated: "Looking at this, Jake Paul. You should have an easy evening mate.
"There are no excuses. "You've seen everyone, I've received the greatest cheers in the entire place.
"There are no excuses, running or hiding. You are my next target, bum. Let's go!
