Legendary Boxer's Lavish Purchase
Mike Tyson, 58, recently made headlines by spending almost all of his earnings from his professional boxing bout against Jake Paul on a new mansion. Tyson returned to the ring for the first time since his retirement in 2005 to face the much younger Paul, 27, in a controversial match in November.
Swanky Features of the Mansion
Tyson used the $20m (£16m) purse from the fight to purchase a $13m (£11m) lakefront spec mansion in Delray Beach. The lavish property spans 2.7 acres and boasts six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, an 80-foot pool and spa, covered terrace, bass pond with a waterfall, gym, four-car garage, and a private lake.
Post-Fight Luxuries
The mansion, situated on El Caballo Court, will be Tyson and his wife Lakiha's new home. The couple is set to move into the 12,286-square-foot estate, complete with luxurious amenities, following Tyson's defeat to Paul in a highly-criticised eight-round bout at the AT&T Stadium in Texas.
Comments from Tyson's Spokesperson
Joseph Jonathan Schneider, a spokesperson for Tyson, expressed satisfaction with the mansion purchase, stating, "This has been a successful transaction with all the parties demonstrating professionalism and collaboration. The Tyson family has been a valued client and friend for many years, and it’s been a pleasure working with them."

Tyson's Future in Boxing
Despite the attention garnered by his comeback fight, Tyson is not expected to return to the ring anytime soon. The bout with Paul received significant viewership and profit, partly due to a deal with Netflix for streaming rights.
