It is believed that the boxing legend owned three white bengals
Tyson was said to have owned three tigers, each costing him more than PS50,000.
Shelly Finkel, his former boxing coach, said that he had to quit after one fatal walk.
SunSport spoke to Finkel in New York. He said that his house was located between two houses in Las Vegas.
"And on the right, facing the street, was a well-known Vegas performer. On the left was a businessman with some dogs.
Mike decided to walk his Bengal Tiger tigers. The tiger sees Mike and climbs up the wall to eat him.
Mike is pulling the man down.
"He lifts him from the fence, and Mike calls me that night and tells me, 'Shelly', the ASPCA has arrived, I am not allowed to keep cats captive. How did they find out?'
"I said, "How do you think they found it?" He is seen by his neighbour crossing the wall to get his dog. What do you think they did?
"That was to me my favorite story with Mike."
Finkel was Tyson's manager right through his retirement in 2005.
Their history goes back to Iron Mike's teenage fame as an amateur musician.
They first met in 1988, when Finkel brokered an exclusive pay-per-view closed-circuit deal for Tyson’s victory over Michael Spinks.
Finkel was appointed his full-time manager after Evander Holyfield's 1997 disqualification.
He stated, "It was one the greatest trips of all my life." Mike Tyson's adventures were amazing.
Finkel had been in touch with Tyson two years ago when the boxing legend made a surprise comeback.
Tyson, 56, won eight exhibition rounds with Roy Jones (53), and there was talk of a Trilogy with Holyfield.
After Holyfield's brutal beating by former UFC champion Vitor Bebelfort, 45 was enough to cause Holyfield to be fired.
Finkel is still managing, especially with Deontay Wilder (ex-WBC champ), who is scheduled for a fight later this year.
Tyson is still training amid rumors that he could face Jake Paul, a YouTuber turned prizefighter who is 25 years older than Tyson.
