Mike Tyson's Team Could Still Protect Him From Fighting Jake Paul, Says Dan Hardy

Mike Tyson's upcoming fight against YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul on November 15 has stirred up controversy due to the 30-year age gap between the two fighters. However, MMA legend Dan Hardy believes that Tyson's team may intervene to prevent the fight from happening.

Controversial Clash

The initial clash between Tyson and Paul was scheduled for July 20 but had to be postponed after Tyson suffered an ulcer flare-up. The fight has received criticism, with many questioning the wisdom of pitting the heavyweight icon against the much younger Paul.

Potential Cancellation

Hardy expressed his concerns about the matchup, stating that beating up Mike Tyson would not be beneficial for Paul's brand. He suggested that the fight might not materialize and that Tyson could be protected by those around him to avoid any potential damage to his legacy.

Tyson's Fitness and Concerns

Despite being deemed medically fit to train, Tyson will undergo additional tests for his brain and heart health before the fight. Concerns have been raised about the 55-year-old former champion facing a much younger and active opponent in Paul.

Fears of Tyson's Performance

Many boxing fans, including Hardy, worry that Tyson may struggle against Paul, who is known for his boxing skills and athleticism. Hardy emphasized that Tyson is no longer the fighter he once was and could be at risk of a knockout in the ring.

With both fighters preparing for the highly anticipated bout, the boxing world awaits to see if Mike Tyson will step into the ring against Jake Paul or if his team will intervene to protect him from a potentially damaging fight.
