BOXING fans are furious at the high price of pay-per view for KSI's fight against Alex Wassabi.
American Wassabi will be facing the social media sensation Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji on August 27 at O2.
KSI's return to boxing will be aired live on DAZN
Alex Wassabi vs KSI, August 27, 2007.
The rights to broadcast the celebrity fight are also held by DAZN, a sports streaming service.
Non-existing subscribers will have to pay PS19.98 in order to view the fight.
However, the monthly DAZN subscription is included in the price.
Existing subscribers will continue to get the fight for a reduced price of PS11.99.
Fans were critical of the price and pointed out that Canelo's fight with GennadyGolovkin in the Trilogy is priced at PS9.99 and PS17.98.
One person said, "As though they're charging more than they are Canelo and GGG for this."
Another commented: "It's better than Canelo GGG."
One defended the price and said: "Actually, a decent price, especially if you compare it with Jake Paul's expensive s ***.
"I think this card could make 500-800k PPV purchases in the UK."
KSI has fought three times before. He started with a win against Joe Weller (26), in 2018. Logan Paul was 27.
The online rivals were able to sell 1.3 million PPVs that night and packed the Manchester Arena for a white collar fight.
A year later, they became professional on DAZN and KSI won by scrappy split-decision.
Since then, he hasn't returned to music and instead focuses on music. However, that doesn't change against Wassabi who beat KSI brother Deji in March.
