Muhammad Ali's Grandson Considers Boxing Switch After Ngannou's Performance Against Fury

Rich Boxing Legacy

Muhammad Ali's grandson, Biaggio Ali Walsh, is considering a switch to boxing after witnessing Francis Ngannou's performance against Tyson Fury. The Ali family has a rich history in the sport, with Biaggio's grandfather being hailed as The Greatest. His auntie Laila was an undefeated two-weight world champion, and his brother Nico is a current middleweight contender.

MMA Dreams and Training with Ngannou

Despite coming from a boxing background, Biaggio initially pursued a career in the NFL. However, he later decided to focus on MMA and has been training alongside Ngannou at the Xtreme Couture gym in Las Vegas.

Inspired by Ngannou's Bout

During the crossover clash between Ngannou and Fury, Ngannou dropped the boxing champ and was unlucky to lose in a split-decision. Biaggio was inspired by Ngannou's performance and is now open to the possibility of following in his family's footsteps by switching to boxing.

Open to Anything

While Biaggio is currently focused on his MMA career, he expressed his openness to boxing in the future. He believes that unexpected opportunities can arise, just like the Ngannou vs. Fury fight. Biaggio plans to turn pro in MMA next year but remains open to any possibilities that may come his way.

Debates with Boxing Brother

Biaggio engaged in fierce debates with his boxing brother Nico about the outcome of the Ngannou vs. Fury fight. Nico had faith in Fury, while Biaggio recognized Ngannou's power. The surprising performance by Ngannou in the boxing ring impressed both brothers.

Impressive Performance by Ngannou

Ngannou's transition from the UFC to boxing impressed Biaggio. He was shocked to see Ngannou's calmness and technical skills in the ring. Ngannou's ability to utilize his jab and set up other strikes showcased the strength of MMA fighters in the boxing world.

Future Plans

Biaggio, still an amateur in MMA, is looking forward to his upcoming fight in the Professional Fighters League. He hopes to turn pro next year and aims to build a strong record in the sport. His ideal plan for 2024 is to have multiple professional fights and establish himself in the boxing world.
