Joyce is open to the idea of ringing with Fury and he respects Fury.

He posted a photo of the smiling couple posing together on Instagram.

Fury isn't expected to be back in the ring until March, however.

Many believed that Dillian Whyte would be next in line for the Gypsy King.

The 33-year old may need to care for Otto Wallin, whom he was supposed face last month, before he pulled out due to a shoulder injury.

Bob Arum, Fury's US promoter, recently stated to Boxing News 24 that "Dillian Whyte was not mandatory and that's why the WBC haven't done it." Dillian Whyte is legally bound to fight Wallin. We'll find out.

"But again, I would like Tyson Fury fighting in the UK in March.

"And I would imagine that Dillian Whyte, or possibly this large English man Joe Joyce would be among the opposition."

In the WBC rankings, Andy Ruiz Jr is currently ranked only behind Whyte and Deontay Wilder.

Sky Sports asked Frank Warren about the possibility of Fury fighting Joyce. Frank Warren replied: "I was talking with Tyson about it. Tyson stated that he is the best out there.

Tyson agreed with this view. He can go all the way. Yes. He has a great ticker and a big heart.

He is strong, he walks forwards, and he is the Juggernaut. You know he will be difficult to get rid of with whomever he is.

He's tough. He's able to fight a little. He can punch."

Fury, 33 years old, is helping Tommy, his younger brother, prepare for Jake Paul's bout next month. The Gypsy King will then corner him.
