Football Jersey Surprise
Oleksandr Usyk, the heavyweight champion, recently shared his private messages with Tyson Fury while sporting a football jersey.
After defeating Fury in May to become the heavyweight division's first four-belt undisputed champion, Usyk is set to rematch Fury on December 21 in Saudi Arabia. However, the boxing superstar hinted at a potential career switch.
Ukrainian Premier League team FC Polissya Zhytomy shared a video of Usyk unboxing their club kit. The two-weight world champion donned the green jersey and displayed some shadow boxing moves for the camera.
Career Speculations
Usyk, who signed with FC Polissya Zhytomy last year, even made an appearance in a friendly match against NK Veres Rivne in 2022. Recently, his coach Sergey Lapin playfully suggested that Usyk might be running out of boxing options and could consider transitioning to MMA.

Lapin went as far as proposing a match against YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul, even suggesting Usyk could fight with a handicap. Despite having to vacate his IBF title to proceed with the rematch against Fury, Usyk remains open to new challenges.
Direct Message Revelation
Usyk shared on Boxing King Media that he attempted to message Tyson Fury directly on Instagram but received no response, leading him to question if the account truly belonged to Fury. The boxing world eagerly awaits the outcome of the upcoming rematch between these two heavyweight giants.
