Lauren Price, Olympic gold medallist for Team GB, started her professional boxing career at Wembley Arena with a win against Valgerdur Gudstensdottir.
The 27-year old won her unanimous decision victory, 10 months after winning the top prize in Tokyo's middleweight division.
Price, who played professional football for Wales and has won kickboxing world titles worldwide, won the fight with her Icelandic opponent in six rounds.
At the end of the bout, the cards showed Price winning 60-54. Gudstensdottir was able to hold on for long enough to hear the last bell.
Price controlled the proceedings all through, picking apart her opponent with a variety of well-executed combinations.
Gudstensdottir was rocked towards the end of the fifth, but she clung on and managed to make it the whole way.
