OSCAR DE LA HOYA’S girlfriend Holly Sonders showed her love for the boxing legend by getting a large tattoo of him on her side.
After meeting at an event in June, the 34-year old TV reporter started dating the 48 year-old.
Sonders has 626,000 Instagram followers and she took to social media to share her new design as a tribute to De La Hoya.
This incredible tattoo shows De La Hoya looking up at the sky after she won the Olympic gold medal in Barcelona 1992 Games.
Sonders captioned her post with the following: "Dear Oscar. You have everything in your life. There's nothing I can offer you that you don't already have... except for this.
This tattoo is a reminder of the day that you became The Golden Boy. You won the 1992 Olympics gold medal and looked up to your mother, who had died a few months before.
"I love you Oscar De La Hoya."
Since then, the Golden Boy has declared that the tattoo was the best gift he has ever received.
He spoke to TMZ Sports and said that it was the best thing he'd ever received. This is the best thing I've ever seen.
"I have been given everything I could imagine.
"And a tattoo. A beautiful portrait of me looking up to the sky at my mother."
Sonders began her career as a presenter at the Golf Channel before moving to Fox Sports.
"I have three tattoos. "I've always wanted a fourth tattoo."
De La Hoya had been scheduled to return to the ring in September against former UFC star Vitor Belfort. However, it was cancelled after the American contracted Covid-19.
After being discharged from hospital, he gave an update on his health and said: "Hey guys! I'm out the hospital."
, Sonders has been with Oscar De La Hoya, boxing star.
"I was there for three days. Covid really hit me hard.
"I was in the most fit of my life, and I can't wait for the ring to return."
"Thanks so much for all the well wishes and support. I really appreciate it."
