Tyson Fury will next be faced by Dillian Whyte

The Swede could have won to challenge Tyson Fury as mandatory WBC challenger.

They will try to reschedule the fight as soon as possible, as the Body Snatcher was injured on the shoulder and had to leave.

However, Whyte could face Fury instead of Wallin.

30-year-old Upset Wallin has asked for Whyte's injury be checked. Seconds Out Boxing reports that Whyte can withdraw from the fight if they are injured but must prove it.

"I don't deny it's real, but please see an independent doctor to confirm his authenticity so that we all can be sure."

He said, "I'm here fight him. I want to fight him." He has been given a lot for his ability to fight tough guys. Now he must keep his word.

Whyte said that he was devastated by his injury. He had been part of a great camp and sparred well.

"I was looking forward and eager to knock out Wallin, and would have done it in the first part of the fight.

"I'm devastated that I won't be able to fight October 30, but I want everyone to know how much they mean to me."

Wallin's promoter Dmitriy Salaita stated that it was very disappointing. If it's an injury, then he should be treated and the event should be rescheduled. This would be fair.

"It would be unfair to the sport boxing for Dillian Whyte have an injury, whatever that may be, and as such, to be allowed to fight Fury.

"Otto is now ready to travel to the UK. This fight was the perfect eliminator to Fury's fight. He had a full training camp.

"The fight must be rescheduled for another date, and the winner should fight Tyson Fury. Any other arrangement would be unfair to boxing and Otto Wallin.

"We will petition the WBC to make an announcement.

"That's the right decision - Tyson Fury fights Whyte-Wallin.

"The WBC will adopt what I consider an important decision. This should be a good start."

SunSport has learned that Alen Babic (30), offered to fight Wallin but was turned down.
