Fury boasts a perfect record, while Joshua has been defeated twice in his career.

AJ lost his last fight to Oleksandr Uzyk. He will face him again in less that two weeks to regain his heavyweight world titles.

Fury, meanwhile, vowed that his sixth round knockout of Dillian Whyte in April was his last fight.

Rumours have circulated that the Gypsy King, who is still unbeaten, could face Joshua in December.

Hearn also admitted that Fury is the best heavyweight fighter on the planet.

On the Happy Hour Podcast, he said: "If I were to ask me right now who is the best heavyweight fighter in the world, Tyson Fury would be my answer.

"Pains us not to say it, but that's the facts."

Hearn continued to discuss who would be A-Sider during negotiations between the pair and thus command more money as well as rights in any fight.

He said, "Fury was always the b-side commercially, but Tyson Fury's rise in the past two years makes it seem like he has put himself up there."

"At the moment Tyson Fury is the best heavyweight in all of the world."

Hearn supported his fighter, saying that AJ could be the best if he wins his rematch against Usyk on Aug 20.

He said: "If AJ defeats Usyk it's arguable, but like another, you get to a certain point, I think that as they get older, it's easier. I think people just say 'oh, who cares?

"AJ's been in a position where he was walking in second, and he's one of those people that says 'I don’t care, I just want fight.'

"But, when two people do not like each other, nobody wants to give an inch, and it can be so frustrating.

"It could be one of the changing rooms. 'I want the first choice of changing area'. Are you f*****g joking? You're getting 100 mil, shut up! Change in the parking lot!
