While a boxing bout between the two never materialized, Malignaggi believes that McGregor's career as a boxer would have been lackluster. He compares McGregor's career to that of heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua, stating that McGregor lacks the willingness to succeed and the willingness to enter the trenches.
