Fury called Joshua on Monday to question him. Joshua replied.
The mischievous Gypsy King taunted AJ with a post on social media: "I'd love to give you the opportunity to fight for WBC heavyweight champion of the world."
The Watford hero replied with: "Yeah calm. Online discussions are not something I do for clout. If you really care about it shout. I will be available in December.
Fury can cherry-pick any one of the top 15 WBC contenders. He told Joshua, "You're coming off of a 12-round fight. So you're match-fit.
"I am giving you a few month's notice. If you are interested, I will send you the date and we can chat.

Fury and AJ will now meet in one of the most important fights in British boxing's history.
Hamed stated that the Gypsy King will have a hard time getting through the night in an episode last year of Frank Warren's Heavyweight Podcast.
He stated, "What Fury has done has been remarkable.
"I look forward to Tyson against Joshua, and I believe that Tyson's too fast and too slick.
"I think it's maybe a easier fight than that of Wilder - and the Wilder was very easy."
Tyson Fury is WBC and Ring Magazine's heavyweight champion
Fury is confident in blasting away AJ, as he once called the 2012 Olympic gold medallist as a big cuddly child who poses no threat.
He said, "One hundred percent Joshua's not danger, at all. He's like an enormous cuddly child.
"Why would you believe in him when he was knocked sparky out by Andy Ruiz?"
"A replacement opponent at the last minute, who was 300lbs or more, didn't train and Anthony Joshua couldn’t do any good with him during the rematch.
He doesn't have any, he can't even hold a candle for the Gypsy King. "There is only one heavyweight in the world, and there is only one undefeated champion.
"They have all been left behind. They've all been beaten by the one who hasn’t lost.
"I'm the Gypsy King, I'm the only one - the unbeatable untouchable, unbreakable champion."
