ANTHONY JOSHUA is unlikely to face Oleksandr Usyk in a world heavyweight rematch.
Although Usyk won their first fight at White Hart Lane, it does not appear that that will be the case again.
It seems unlikely that Anthony Joshua will face Oleksandr Usyk in a rematch
Eddie Hearn says that British fighter fans might have to travel to Saudi Arabia instead to see the thrilling spectacle scheduled for June.
Hearn acknowledged that it will be difficult to stage the fight at home as the Middle East nations have offered to pay twice the amount.
Joshua and the Matchroom boss claim they would prefer the fight to be held in the UK.
He understands that Usyk would prefer to fight in Saudi Arabia because of the larger purse. Both battlers will share equally in the spoils.

Hearn stated to the Mirror that if contracts and site fees are not accepted, it will make it very difficult for Usyk to travel to the UK.
"We can see it through their eyes, 'Why would I bother going back home to England for half of the money?'
We can't accept a site that is significantly less than Usyk. If AJ wants to travel to London, it would be a huge advantage. However, if a site fees generates twice the money, Usyk won't allow us to travel to London.
"So, we have to consider that, but AJ just wants the fight."

After Usyk courageously defended Ukraine during Russia's invasion, the heavyweight rematch was postponed.
Now, it is clear that Joshua is still aiming to win the WBA, WBO, and IBF world titles. This is after Krassyuk revealed Usyk was in Europe training for the fight.
Krassyuk said that fight fans will need to wait less than two weeks before finding out where the fight will be held.
