Promoters of Jarrell Miller claim that the shamed heavyweight is still in touch with Anthony Joshua, despite having lost $10 million.

JARRELL MILLER is still in "unfinished business" after missing out on a $10million payoff.

In 2019, the controversial heavyweight was scheduled to face AJ in New York. Then, the British star Stateside would be welcomed.

His purse was estimated to be $4.8 million (PS3.6m), with the possibility to earn even more if won and secured an instant rematch.

Miller failed three Voluntary Anti-Doping Association drug tests before the fight, resulting in a huge loss.

A year later, another drug bust left the American behind. He is currently serving a two-year backdated suspension.

The Nevada State Athletic Commission voted to re-licence Miller on June 17 provided he continues to pass clean tests.

SunSport spoke with Greg Cohen, his promoter. He said that he had complied with the suspension and that nobody is suggesting that everyone should openly welcome him back.

"He must prove to the outside world what his inner circle knows. The truth is that he has lost everything.

"And this is self inflicted. I'm trying not to make him a victim but the man was at the top of the world fighting Anthony Joshua in New York. He had a $10million package.

"You're referring to life-changing stuff, and unfortunately, what happened, happened. He has paid a huge price.

"It will have been more than three-and-a half years since he fought before he returns to the ring.

He didn't kill anyone, he was suspended before the fight, it wasn’t like he tested positive after-fight - I’m not making light.

"You are responsible for everything in your system. You have to be accountable. The man has been accountable."

Miller, 33, attributed his failure to fight Joshua, 32, on a tainted Supplement and stem cell shots in the elbow.

In 2020, the heavyweight would sign a contract with Bob Arum's Top Rank stable. However, he was again tested positive for a banned drug.

The ex-kickboxer resorted to a SEX PILL this time and is currently under a ban.

Jarrell Miller is still under a two year drug ban

Cohen stated that Miller took part in VADA testing December 2020. He received clean results so far and should be allowed to prove his worth.

He stated, "The guy is taking responsibility for his actions and deserves another chance."

Miller was also banned after he failed a test while competing in kickboxing. He is one of the most hated fighters in the world.

Cohen knows that prizefighters can make a lot of money in this position.

He stated that he believed Jarrell was going to be the villain.

"You can have both good and bad guys. Take a look at the WWE. There are plenty of bad guys who do well.

"Look at Floyd Mayweather. He was "Pretty Boy Floyd" fighting live on HBO. He was a great fighter, but he wasn't captivating the public.

"When he changed his name to "Money" Mayweather, and moved to Showtime with that entire persona shift, he was the bad guy and made more money boxing than anyone else.

Jarrell is one of the most kind and sweetest guys I know. His inner circle knows he is a great man.

"We don’t expect people not to get to know him and to embrace him as we do. He’s willing to wear the black cap, to be the bad one.

Miller was to be the star of Sky Sports PPV, DAZN and Joshua before he cheated himself out of a title fight against Joshua and all the millions that went with it.

Arum and ESPN were open to giving him a chance at redemption, until another drug scandal.

However, if Cohen or Miller think it will be difficult to convince fans to get on board the retribution train again, then TV networks might not have a problem.
