Ricky Hatton warns Tyson Fury to not let Deontay Wester fight go 'tits-up' like AJ's nightmare versus Oleksandr Usyk

RICKY HATTON urged his mate Tyson Fury not to let the Deontay wilder trilogy get 'tits up.

The Manchester legend was there to witness AJ's WBA, IBF, and WBO world titles being surrendered to Oleksandr Uzyk on September 25. Prospect son Campbell Hatton won on the undercard.

The UK had 13 world boxing titles in 2017, but AJ's loss last month saw that number drop to six.

The 43-year-old national treasure is keen for his friend Ben Davison, who ran two training camps at his Manchester gym in 2019, when he was working with Ben Davison. He wants him to stay focused in Sin City this weekend in order not to lose his WBC belt.

The two-weight champion stated that Tyson is the favorite, but it is not an automatic conclusion. It will be difficult.

"We all want Tyson's victory, but - as we saw with the AJ fight – these are all sticky wickets. It can all be titted up with one heavyweight punch.

Hatton bravely spoke out about his struggle with depression after his defeats to Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather in 2007.

He has been concerned to see Wilder, a former champion of five years, blame almost everyone except himself for the shellacking and assistant trainer Mark Breland's decision to throw in the towel.

Hatton doesn't even seem to be mad that Fury has accused him of altering Fury's gloves in their 2018 original draw.

He stated that he had watched all of Wilder's statements after the loss, and he wasn't saying it from the right perspective.

"I know that Pacquiao beat me in two rounds. It's a mental commotion.

"When I saw him blaming himself for Tyson's gloves being loaded and Mark Breland for water tampering, I thought he was suffering from something."

Davison was responsible for Fury's famous comeback from 28st depression to two-time heavyweight champion.

Fury chose to train with SugarHill Steward, a specialist in KO, after the Los Angeles draw.

The seven-round, stoppage victory stunned the world. Hatton however says that he saw it coming through their sessions together, including the famous one that ended with them both going topless.

He said, "I knew that he had this power, it was impossible to miss it when I saw him in my gym.

"But he never used it because he always had all the other tools in his locker.

"This 6ft 9in heavyweight can box orthodox, southpaw, on either the backfoot or inside the pocket.

"I knew that he had it in him always because he can truly do anything.

"It seemed to him that he liked boxing off his backfoot and was most comfortable doing so.

"But when he was training, I would watch him, and sometimes, in the final rounds of sparring he would like his foot down to bully his opponent.

"He can sit on top of you and squash all your work, pull and drag and smother.

"Anyone 18-19 years old, if they hit your chin, you are going over."
