Ring Magazine moves Oleksandr Usyk to number two in the top ten boxing P4P lists.

After beating Anthony Joshua, OLEKSANDRUSYK is now second on Ring Magazine's top ten list of pound-for pound players.

Only Canelo Alvarez, the Mexican superstar, is now the new unified heavyweight champion.

Ring Magazine moves Oleksandr Usyk to number two in the top ten boxing P4P lists.

Usyk was in fourth place, followed by Japanese Naoya Inoue (28), and American Terence Crawford (34).

After his masterclass against AJ, the unbeaten pair have dropped a spot each. Usyk, 34 has now taken their place.

It hasn't been enough to defeat Canelo, the top boxing attraction, who has won titles at FOUR different divisions and reigns at supermiddleweight.

Josh Taylor (30) from Scotland is fifth. He is above Errol Spence Jr (31), who has not fought since September 2020.

Eddie Hearn, Joshua's promoter, agreed that Canelo is the only one who deserves to surpass Usyk's masterful southpaw in the mythical rankings.

When asked where he ranks, Hearn replied: "Two after Canelo.

"It was a cruiserweight man, everybody called him a top five pound for pound.

"But then, when he moved to heavyweight he went off everybody's radar. He must be on every pound-for-pound list after that win."

Tyson Fury (33), is Ring's highest-rated Heavyweight, but he does not appear on the pound for pound list.

Deontay Wilder (35), will be his opponent in a tri-fibre bout on October 9. Usyk will rematch Joshua (31) and hopes for a tense fight.

He stated: "Oh cool! I get to beat up Anthony Joshua twice."

"I have three main belts, and Tyson Fury currently has the fourth."
