Alexander Krassuyk, Usyk's promoter, doesn't think Garcia can change Joshua's mind.

For the better part of a whole year, the pair has been working on a plan to fight AJ in Saudi Arabia's unified heavyweight championship.

Alexander Krassyuk, Usyk's promoter, believes Garcia will not be able instill a new mindset in the Brit. He said: "Robert Garcia, a very well-known, very determined, and professional trainer.

"He has a lot of experience in leading guys to success, but not with heavyweights.

"But it doesn't matter because you can't teach AJ anything because he is more than 30 years of age.

"It's about helping him to find his strengths and minimizing his weaknesses. A trainer cannot change mentality.

"Your mentality is something that you get when you are born. It is formed in your childhood, in school, and at college.

This is how you form your mentality. Your teachers, your friends and your family. You will have a fully formed mentality when you are 30 years old, just like AJ.

Krassyuk does not foresee AJ changing his mentality in any significant way, but he is refusing to rule out Watford's chance of reclaiming their belts.

He said, "So I don’t think he has much chance of changing his mentality. But it doesn’t mean Joshua has no chance."

Joshua, 32, attempted to outbox Usyk during their sold-out Tottenham tussle, but plans to return to his aggressive ways in their desert dust up.

He stated, "The goal is to get back to basics and aim for the knockout."

"I feel that when I fight or spar with people, their spirit is actually dampened."

"Honestly, if you look at someone directly in their eyes, and watch their body closely, you can see how they are slowly losing their strength.

"Now, when you boxing, the art is to hit and not get hurt. You're better off boxing to stay away. This is not my style.

"My style is to get up close with people and make it difficult for them." That's my game plan.
