In October, the American had to undergo surgery and was unable to face JoJo Diaz (29), who lost to Devin Haney (23)

The lightweight wants to fight again in 2022. He also wants Cruz, who was defeated by Gervonta in Decemeber.
Garcia, 23 years old, tweeted: "Putting my mind down and getting it done in 2022, we're ready to go."
"Silence all the noise and be yourself. That's the goal. Start by getting Isaac Cruz to fight for you and stop wasting your time.
"Coming from someone who says he'll fight you in my patio, he sure takes a while."
Cruz, 23 years old, staked his claim to be a contender when Davis, 27, was taken the distance.
He isn't convinced Garcia will fight him. DAZN reports that Ryan hasn't been a danger to the division.

"Diaz grabs my attention because he tells me he wants me to bully him, and I believe that he is trying to knock me out. That's why I am there whenever he needs."
Garcia has not fought since defeating Luke Campbell, 34 from Britain, in January 2021 after a brutal body shot.
He has since returned to training and claims that his famed speed has improved.
Garcia wrote: "I feel so sharp and strong, actually quicker than I was before. It's crazy!
"Kinda felt like I was in the hyperbolic chamber of DBZ (Dragon Ball Z).
