The American lost $20,000 to Errol Spence Jr. on the fight and immediately called Floyd Mayweather's protégée.

Garcia fought on, despite Davis's left-hook finish. Garcia was even more confident that Garcia would KO the two-weight champion.

SunSport was informed by him that he thought it would be a dog fight initially.

"I thought that I had to be prepared for some kind of war. It's going to easy. He's going to be tortured, I'm going torture him and beat him."

Garcia, 23 years old, really made a name for himself in the lightweight division by stopping Luke Campbell, 34 with a body shot on January 2020.

He showed a new side to his fighting style when he defeated Emmanuel Tagoe (33), over 12 rounds in April.

Garcia said that despite the differences in performances, it would not be compared to what he had in store for Tank Davis.

He stated, "People don’t know that I have been fighting since I was seven years of age."

"So I can fight every style and I know what I have to do because I've done it before.

"And when I say it's mine natural style, that's because it is mine natural style. You've seen Campbell and Tagoe's style, but it's not me.

"That's me being forced to do something that I felt I needed to do. Campbell was the one I felt I had to get, and I had to press the entire fight.

"And Tagoe just ran the entire night, so I had to fight that way." Tank is a different story.

Garcia even said that he would beat Davis (27), in the same manner as Muhammad Ali did in beating Sonny Liston in 1964.

He stated: "I am referring to comparisons to Sonny Liston against Muhmmmad Ali first time around. Just beating him and making the situation seem too easy.

"And that's exactly what I'm saying. It will be too easy. I am not saying that anything is difficult, but I am saying that I will make it seem easy.

"Then people will be shocked. They're going have to stop this fight or I'm going knock him out. It's what it is.

Garcia will be facing Dominican Javier Fortuna live on DAZN on Saturday.

Fortuna, 32 was his opponent in April 2013. He was forced to withdraw due to a struggle with his mental health.

Garcia finally gets Fortuna in his ring after more than a year. This was in an effort to send a message about the lightweight division.

He said, "I hope that this rocket ship keeps taking off."

"I want to take on the biggest challenges like Devin Haney, Gervonta, and Vasiliy Lomachenko. I'm up for them all.

"I feel like my body is finally complete, I feel strong, ready, and wise. I have everything I need to confront those opponents.

It's about making the fights happen right now. They are not my favorite sport and I won't promote them anymore.

"So now, I want to become a businessman. This is what I am focusing on."
