RYAN GARCIA revealed that he felt "betrayed" by Canelo Alvarez, boxing legend, who gave him an interview in which he criticised him.
Mexican star Canelo has criticised Garcia's training methods after being a mentor to Garcia, 23 years ago, while they were both working out at the same gym.

SI.Com Garcia spoke to me and said: " I didn't understand why he would say that, especially to the media. He could have taken me elsewhere and told me personally.
"So, I was kinda confused on that. It was a disloyalty thing that I took because I wouldn't do it to him.
"I wouldn't speak to him in the gym about what I think he should do, or not.
"We are a team and should not speak ill of each other. I know that I have never done it and I will never do it again.
Garcia is unbeaten in 21 fights and has 18 knockouts. Canelo's behavior "shocked" Garcia.
Garcia said, "He's an amazing fighter, a wonderful human being, and I wish the best for him."
"But when he stated that I felt betrayed, I felt like, "Really?" like O.K. To be truthful, I don’t believe he truly... he didn’t want to show me the love that I received.
"I don’t believe so. It's just based on other factors. It's all fine, man. He has a good heart and good intentions. I don't wish him any harm."

Garcia is a rising star in the music scene since 2016 when he was first discovered.
However, no one knows for certain why Canelo chose to attack his former protege on more than one occasion.
Complex Canelo stated that he was wasting a lot time and his talent. He isn't 100% dedicated when I look at him, and that's a bad sign for us.
Garcia quit Canelo’s gym in February to "build his brand and make it larger" in preparation for his return to boxing.
Henry Garcia, BoxingScene Garcia’s father and co-trainer, said that Ryan decided it was time to open his own gym. He's no longer restricted to a set schedule or a specific day.
Canelo will take on Dmitry Bivol, a Russian fighter, for the WBA light heavyweight title in Las Vegas on May 7.
Eddie Hearn, boxing promoter, remains positive that the fight will continue, despite Russia's invasion.
Garcia will be fighting Emmanuel Tagoe in San Antonio, Texas on April 9.
Tagoe, a former IBO lightweight champion, won 32 consecutive fights after losing his fight in 2004.
