Eddie Hearn has revealed that boxing bosses from Saudi Arabia are set to fly in to watch Anthony Joshua's next fight.
Building up to a Blockbuster
If Joshua defeats Robert Helenius at the O2 Arena on Saturday night, it could pave the way for a blockbuster matchup with Deontay Wilder.

Behind-the-Scenes Negotiations
Hearn said, "There's definitely been a lot of work behind the scenes, months of discussions. We could get a deal done Sunday or Monday, but I don't think that's going to be the case."
Timing Adjustments
A December date was initially planned for Joshua and Wilder, but it appears that the fight has been moved to January due to Joshua's rematch deal with Dillian Whyte.

Last-Minute Replacement
With just seven days before the fight, Whyte was pulled out due to a failed drug test, and Helenius was brought in as a replacement.
History Repeating Itself?
This situation is reminiscent of when Jarrell Miller blew his chance to fight Joshua due to a doping scandal in 2019. Andy Ruiz Jr then stepped in as the replacement and shocked the world by defeating Joshua in their first fight.

Avoiding Disaster
Hearn wants to avoid a repeat of Joshua's loss to Ruiz and insists that Joshua must first avoid a potential upset by beating Helenius.
