OSCAR VALDEZ will headline MGM Grand Garden Arena THIS SATURDAY as he faces Shakur Stevenson in a massive WBC/WBO unification bout.
The Mexican champion will try to build on his controversial victory over Robson Conceicao, where he ended the fight with a bloody nose.
Stevenson, Valdez's opponent, proved his skills when he beat Jamel Herring by two feet last October.
Both fighters can be crowned king of the division after their unbeaten records.
However, someone's streak of perfectionism is about to come to an end when they meet in Vegas.

What have you heard?
Oscar Valdez stated that experience is crucial and the main advantage he has over Stevenson.
Valdez stated: Shakur is a more defensive fighter, but it's possible for anything to happen in the ring.
"I've been through many fights and many wars. You can find a way for him to go there, and force him to question himself. Is he truly interested in it?
"I fought with an injury hand, broken rib, and I was sent to the canvas. It was times when I felt exhausted, and I thought that I would collapse from exhaustion after the fight.
"Losing cannot be an option. That is the only thing that keeps me going forward and moving forward. This just proves that I have the heart to do this.
