Shocking Backstage Brawl Erupts at Misfits Boxing Event

Security Forced to Intervene as TikTok Rivals Trade Blows

A shocking brawl broke out backstage at the Misfits 11 boxing event, leaving security scrambling to restore order. The explosive incident unfolded at York Hall, where the best action of the night took place behind the scenes.

The brawl ignited between social media star Ed Matthews, 21, and his TikTok rival Ben Williams. The two influencers have been engaged in a heated feud since the summer, and tensions finally boiled over in the East End on Friday.

As both men, accompanied by their entourages, came face-to-face in the backstage area of the iconic York Hall, a war of words quickly escalated into physical confrontation. Security guards and others attempted to intervene, but the situation spiraled into chaos.

With the rivals grappling with each other, Williams managed to gain the upper hand, landing punches on both Matthews and another individual. However, additional security personnel arrived on the scene and managed to separate the fighters, bringing an end to the violent altercation.

Following the incident, both Matthews and Williams were reportedly ejected from the venue, indicating that their ongoing feud may soon be settled in the boxing ring.

Background on Ed Matthews and Ben Williams

Ed Matthews is a popular social media star known for his entertaining videos on TikTok and YouTube. He frequently collaborates with other content creators and has been involved in feuds with personalities such as Simple Simon and Astrid Wett.

Matthews previously faced off against TikToker Simple Simon (real name Simon Colbran) in a boxing match on July 16, 2022. He emerged victorious, knocking out his rival in just 48 seconds and subsequently resolving their differences.

However, Matthews suffered a defeat in his next bout against rapper Blueface, who secured a stoppage victory in their Kingpyn boxing clash.

On the other hand, 19-year-old Dubliner Ben Williams has gained significant popularity on social media, amassing nearly 500k TikTok followers. He achieved a first-round TKO against Black Paddy in July, competing in his hometown during his first Kingpyn bout. Williams then set his sights on a showdown with Matthews.

Williams expressed his desire to face Matthews, acknowledging his UK popularity and highlighting their similar age and weight. While Matthews initially hesitated, Williams remains hopeful that continued pressure will eventually lead to a boxing match between them.
