Brook acknowledged that he can't close the door on a fight in the future, even if there are millions at stake.

He said to iFL TV, "There's always a figure." If it makes business sense, then I'm returning. Show me the millions.

"Listen, I love the game. Don't you? "I love the game but I am retired."

Brook, 35, won bragging rights with a sixth round stoppage in their Manchester grudge bout.

Conor Benn was Conor Benn's welterweight opponent. He then priced himself out and did not agree to terms with Chris Eubank Jr., 32.

Brook claimed he is happy retired but admitted that he would consider returning if he was offered a mega-money payday or a crowd-pleasing fight.

He said, "It's never over until it's done." As it stands now, however, I am retired.

"But Eddie Hearn if he is watching, all those promoters, show me your benjamins. It excites me enough.

It's difficult to leave when I return and hear all the fans and stuff. It is very difficult to let go of it.

Khan had a rematch clause, but talks of a second fight between British stars fell apart.

Later, the 2004 Olympic silver medallist also gave up his gloves, ending yet another conic career.
