Sky Sports Box Office will broadcast Anthony Joshua's rematch against Oleksandr Usyk

Sky Sports will continue to show the news on PPV despite signing a PS100million deal for streaming giants Dazn.

After SunSport revealed exclusively that it won the rights to broadcast the show on Box Office for PS25m, this news comes as a result.

Sky charged PS24.95 per person to view the September Usyk vs AJ match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

They have also increased the price by another PS2 in order to make the rematch the most expensive PPV price ever seen in British boxing history.

Fans were quick to use social media to critique the outrageous price paid for the fight, which was dubbed the Rage on the Red Sea.

One user tweeted: "Won’t be watching it for the price though... Streaming is... it wasn’t a joke at PS19.99, but we paid it. But PS26.95? No chance."

Another commented, "No wonder people stream it on fire sticks or whatnot. PS27 has become a joke. With Sky and BT's absurd pricing, it won't take long for Amazon and DAZN to win the race with BT and Sky.

Another added: "27 dollars for a fight .... Wow! !"

More to come...
