SunSport discovered that the listing was taken down by the boxing icon after it failed to find buyers. It's now back on the market, but at a reduced PS33million.

This stunning gated property is located in Pacific Palisades near Santa Monica and Malibu.

It also has all the amenities that a true sports icon would desire, such as a pool and tennis court as well as a green.

Sugar Ray, estimated to be worth approximately PS120m, has been living in the home for more than 20 years with his wife Bernadette.

It's HUGE

It spans 16,773 square feet and includes a seven-bedroom main house as well as a two-storey guesthouse.

Richard Landry, a famed architect to the stars, designed it. He counts Rod Stewart, Eddie Murphy and Mark Wahlberg among his clients.

It shares a lot with a European villa in style, with features such as ivy-covered walls and full glass rectangular doors. The stone walls that are found throughout the property were imported from Jerusalem.

Six fireplaces are also included, all imported from Europe.

Living room features vaulted ceilings and arched windows. There is also a protected outer space.

The kitchen has a rustic feel similar to what you would see in a farmhouse

The kitchen would look great in a rustic farmhouse with wooden beams. However, modern appliances can be installed.

GOLF IS FOR EVERYONE

Sugar Ray, who retired from the ring in his 18-handicap, spent much of his time on the golf course.

He built a five-hole putting course on his estate to improve his skills.

This is not the end of the sporting theme.

Sugar Ray won titles at welterweight (light-middleweight), middleweight, supermiddleweight, light-heavyweight and welterweight) and has his own tennis court.

After he finishes working out, he can take a dip in his sunken pool, which is flanked with a spa and beautiful landscaped gardens.

However, there were no takers and the property has been unlisted recently
There were no buyers and the property was unlisted.

Bernadette stated that the home had been a peaceful haven since it was listed for sale in 2019.

"We are blessed to have the space that allows us to hold both large-scale fundraisers and intimate family gatherings.

"My hope is that this home will be treasured by the new owner as much as my family."

The property was not up for sale at PS42million. However, the price has been reduced to almost PS10million. Is it still a bargain?
