High chance of knockout
Tonight's highly anticipated clash between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson is expected to end by knockout, according to a supercomputer. The heavyweight legend Tyson, 58, will go head-to-head with YouTuber Paul, 27, in an eight-round match with two-minute rounds. Despite wearing more padded 14oz gloves, the supercomputer from JeffBet predicts a significant chance of a KO.
Predicted outcomes
The supercomputer gives Paul a 63.6% chance of winning the fight, with a 40% probability of him either knocking Tyson out or earning a TKO victory. In contrast, Tyson has a 34.8% chance of winning, with a 26.7% chance of a KO/TKO. Both fighters have lower chances of winning by decision, with Paul at 26.3% and Tyson at 7.7%. The supercomputer even suggests a draw is more likely than a Tyson decision, with a 9.1% chance of a tie.
Knockdown probabilities
The supercomputer also calculated the probabilities of each fighter being knocked down during the 16-minute match. There is a 55.6% chance that Paul will floor Tyson, while the reverse has been estimated at 38.1%. Tyson, once considered the best heavyweight in the world, has not fought competitively in 19 years and is nearing his 60th birthday. Paul, known for beating ex-UFC stars, suffered his sole defeat at the hands of Tommy Fury.
