TERENCE Crawford DEMOLISHES ERROL SPECE JR. IN WELTERWEIGHT SUPREMACY ABOUT

Crawford makes history as the first two-weight undisputed champ

In a highly-anticipated super-fight, Terence Crawford proved his dominance over long-time rival Errol Spence Jr. with a sensational performance in Las Vegas. The fight, which had been hyped as a 50/50 blockbuster, turned out to be a one-sided battering as Crawford dropped Spence three times before experienced referee Harvey Dock called off the fight. With this victory, Crawford solidified his place in history as the first fighter to become a two-weight undisputed champion.

The Early Exchange and Crawford's Knockdowns

The fight started well for Spence, who managed to back Crawford up with his jab and landed some solid body shots. However, everything changed in the second round when Crawford dropped Spence for the first time in his career with a powerful left hand and a subsequent right jab. From that moment on, it was all Crawford as he showcased his counter-punching skills and defensive prowess. Spence tried to take the fight to Crawford with body blows but couldn't break through his defenses. In the seventh round, Spence was floored once again by a perfectly-timed uppercut followed by an onslaught and a right hook. Despite surviving to the eighth round, Spence couldn't withstand the relentless pressure from Crawford in the ninth.

Call for a Rematch

After the fight, both fighters expressed their interest in a rematch. Crawford thanked Spence and his team for making this historic fight possible and said that he believes the fans would show their support again if a rematch happens. Spence, who suffered his first defeat, also called for a rematch and promised to be better in the next fight. He even suggested that the rematch could take place at the 154lb light-middleweight limit, but ultimately, Crawford will have the final say on the weight class.

Despite the dominant nature of Crawford's victory, fans are eagerly anticipating another chapter in this fierce rivalry.
