Tommy Fury made his first TV appearance since his victory over KSI, and he showed off a fresh-faced look. The boxing match, which took place last Saturday in Manchester, ended in a controversial points win for Fury. However, KSI was not happy with the decision and plans to appeal his first-ever loss.
Mocking KSI's Boxing Style
Fury didn't hold back in mocking KSI's boxing style and the fact that the fight was promoted on his Misfits Boxing banner. Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Fury said, "At the end of the day, he can come out and say what he wants, but hugging and doing star jumps in the ring does not win a fight. And he can go on about how he was robbed, but at the end of the day, it was his show, his officials, his judges. So he's saying your own people that you employ have robbed you?"
The Controversial Decision
Fury, 24, walked away from the fight unmarked after six scrappy rounds with KSI, 30. Initially, he was awarded a majority-decision win, with two judges scoring it 57-56 in his favor. However, the official scorecards revealed that Rafael James had actually sided 56-57. As a result, the decision was changed to a unanimous-decision win for Fury.
Rematch Possibility
When asked about a potential rematch, Fury was uncertain. He said, "I don't know, we're gonna see. But that was a horrible fight to be a part of. He didn't wanna fight, he didn't want to stand there and give the fans a good fight. He just wanted to make it awkward, look horrible, and run around the ring for six rounds. It's very irritating for someone like me who wanted to get in there and have a proper fight."
