TOMMY FURY claims he is "gutted" that Jake Paul ended their fight contract due to visa issues. However, he insists that the bout can continue OUTSIDE the USA.
Tyson Fury's younger brother claimed that he and his team could not have foreseen him being denied entry to the US.
Tommy Fury insists that he still wants to face Jake Paul, but in a neutral country.
Paul, a furious YouTuber, slammed the Brit's attempts to obtain a visa. Fury Junior claimed Fury Junior "wasn’t interested and literally went in hiding."
Fury, a former Love Island star, responded with a statement. "I'm devastated and disappointed about the issues I have faced with entry into the USA.
"This is a serious situation that I have left with my lawyers. Being denied entry into a country obviously is a serious matter and must be addressed.
"I am certain that this fight will occur when the issues are resolved.
"I would like to clarify that I will fight in neutral countries that both sides can enter.
"This can happen at any time, anyplace, and anywhere."
Reports in the US indicate that Paul may be near to organizing a fight with Hasim Rahman Jr.
Sharif, Hasim's brother, tweeted that it was a "done agreement" - though no official confirmation from the boxers has been received.
Paul would be expressing his disappointment at Fury's failure to enter the US if he agreed to this bout.
The celebrity on social media posted: "Fury has received a termination notice. MVP did everything possible to assist Fury and his team.
He was not interested in the matter and went into hiding. He pulled out for the second time in succession.
"Second consecutive time, I'm going up and taking on a new opponent with short notice. AUG 6. MSG."
